Our BAH line of shaving soaps incorporates the skin loving properties of lamb tallow, lanolin and goat's milk.
Shave soap that delivers stable, creamy lather, similar to a shaving cream. This is a softer soap than a bath bar, made with lamb tallow, kokum butter, organic shea butter and babassu, for moisture/emolliency and goat's milk for skin conditioning and ph balance.
Lanolin makes the bar extra soothing. Bentonite clay is added for additional "slip".

This soap is formulated for use in scuttles/shavings mugs. Lather is best produced when "worked" with a shaving brush and warm water.

Highest Fatty Acid Composition:
Stearic 56.3%
Oleic 20.6%
Lauric 1.0%
Palmitic 6.2%

Ingredients: Saponified Stearic acid, Lamb Tallow, Kokum butter (Garcinia indica seed), Unrefined Organic Shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii),Castor (Ricinus communis), Babassu oil (Orbignya oleifera seed), Lanolin. With goat's milk, essential oils blend (EO/FO), bentonite clay, sodium lactate and ROE (rosemary oleoresin extract- an antioxidant).

Natural bar soap is best kept dry between uses and will last longer. Avoid keeping bars in puddles or direct streams of water. We suggest using a soap saver dish or wire shower caddy that allows proper drainage.

This is absolutely the best shaving soap I've used in a long time. Great variety of scents, perfect slickness and glide, lasts through a long shave. Can't say enough good things about this soap

I am wetshaving hobbiest that is active on all the major shaving forums and have extensively used well over 50 different soap brands including Barrister and Mann, Tabac, Stirling, A&E, M&M, Haslinger, MWF, Grooming Dept and many, many others. I consider myself something of a shaving soap connaisure and have very, very high standards. My woman calls me a soap snob. I'm telling you this so that this review will, hopefully, be received in the context of coming from somebody who has compared a great many shave soaps and considers themselves highly qualified to asses them so that when I say that this is some of the highest quality soap I've yet encountered in this price bracket. Adagio Road can go toe to toe with a $25 soap any day. It lathers easy, produces an unctuous dense lather, is stable, slick and smells great. This is the finest soap I've yet encountered for less than $10 and is in the top 5 overall regardless of price. This applies to all Adagio soaps. Regarding the BAH formulation in particular, I found it to be a more dense "low structure" lather...which I love. It also had a slightly better post shave than the beef tallow but took slightly longer to get the lather to the perfect lather texture and was a bit more picky with hydration levels. Again, not better...just different.
